Had a visit from one of my many boyfriends today. Ethan came to the office (along with his mom, Jennifer). They've spent most of the last month up in Maine visiting her parents, but are back home now. He's such a good baby - slept most of the time, including all the way to, during and from lunch. It was nice of Jen to bring him in - he still has that wonderful "baby head" smell.

I went to a restaurant near the office to grab something for dinner tonight. Just after I sat down, I felt someone touch my hand - I looked up to see Armand, the bartender. I've known him for a dozen years - he was the bartender at Sfuzzi's, the restaurant in the base of One Liberty Place where our old office was. He spent some time at a couple of restaurants around town but wanted to get back to Center City. It was nice to talk to him and catch up.

Suki is lying in her cat carrier playing with her toy mice. She seems to like being in the carrier - who would have thunk it?

It is cold and drizzly and windy here today. Pretty miserable. One can only hope that it will clear up before the holiday weekend.

"Do not, on a rainy day, ask your child what he feels like doing, because I assure you that what he feels like doing, you won't feel like watching."
