This has been a lovely long weekend. It was nice having the Fourth on Thursday, leaving three more days before the dreaded return to work. Suki woke me at 5:30 today, but she just wanted me to pet her forehead for a while. I got up and read the paper, then went skating for about ten miles. It's in the 80's and not as humid as it has been, but it is still smoky from the Canadian fires.

I worked on rescanning HOUSE pictures this afternoon. I'm missing a couple of pictures that have already been scanned, so I may just have to leave those old versions up until I find the originals again. Looking at the photos makes me realize how big a job this really was/is, and how much has been done.

I have to call the Criminal Justice Center tomorrow. I rescheduled jury duty this spring and they said I was put back on for July 9th and that a new summons would be sent. Which it wasn't.

[Maybe they don't really need me.]
