Grey, rainy, foggy weekend. Yuck. Snow during the week when we have to go outside and rain on the weekends when we want to. Whatever snow is still around is a grey, nasty slush.

[*sheesh*]

Had such a great dinner on Friday! I met up with Eva, John K, Velda and Franny at the Sofitel. What a great location. We then hunted for cabs in the rain and went to Kristian's at 11th and Federal in South Philly. Just marvelous! It's a small restaurant, but the food was great and we loved our waiter. I had the spinach salad and osso buco - yum.

We called for cabs and got one, so we sent Franny home. We waited for the next one, but with the rainy weather, the restaurant couldn't get any. The manager installed the remaining four of us in his car and drove us up to the train station at Market Street - very nice of him.

Suki has been a nightmare. I guess this is what a bored toddler is like. A friend gave my a couple of cartoons that about sum her up these days:
