time - how fleeting

Sorry, this will have to be quick. I've been tres busy at work today, and I have another meeting starting in . . .

[AH - OOOOOO- GAAAA]

. . . FIVE minutes. Yikes. So, I owe you one.

Just wanted to say how much I love Jon Stewart of "The Daily Show" on Comedy Central. He just cracks me up anyway, and last night he had me in tears. It wasn't so much that what he was saying was funny, it was his HAIR.

If you've checked out the link, you'll note that his hair is kind of slicked back. Well, last night, his stylist must have had just a bit too much caffeine, because it was way too poofy on top. I noticed this and thought it was a tad odd, but what the heck.

A few minutes into his opening monologue he stops and says, "You know, my hair is even distracting ME." He then proceeding to try to flatten his hair, and. . .

No, no, I promise - it was really funny at the time.

[*sigh*]

I have finally discovered who the new commercial tenants are in The Pier. They have a nice office in the front of the second floor, and they moved in about a month ago, and I found out that the company is called "Twins", a take-out delivery service that offers menu listings from several restaurants in town. But the most intruiging feature is a 60+ gallon salt water aquarium in their reception area. They have a half dozen or so fish, including my favorite, a Lion Fish.

[I just hope they don't offer "Fish and Chips."]
