So after moving the furniture yesterday, I went shopping at Costco, Wegman's, PetSmart, AC Moore, Bed, Beth and Beyond and Pier 1. Not necessarily in that order. I also stopped at the wine shop and filled up the gas tank, then went home and unloaded all of the stuff bought at the above stores. Except the gas - I did leave that in the car.

Chez Trauma was pretty quiet. I made Jerk Chicken with rice and salad for dinner. Gary gave it a thumbs up. I managed to stay awake for our 136th viewing of "Revenge of the Sith", but fell asleep on the couch around 9:00. Which led to my waking up at 5:30 and surfing around while watching "Starship Troopers" until Gary got up to go to the hospital.

I stopped at the local grocery store on my way home - Wegman's didn't have all of the things I needed yesterday. Then to Home Depot to return an organizer and buy some more PVC pipe. And an orchid. It was an odd looking combination, my little orchid sitting on the big cart with the ten foot section of PVC next to it. Then home and coffee!

Today didn't feel quite as productive, but it had its moments: glued corks, steam cleaned the master shower, did three loads of laundry, folded and ironed as needed, put new pillows and cases on bed, glued more corks, installed a new Dust Buster and a new light above the sink in the laundry room, scoured the laundry room sink and counters, hung a fruit crate label above the door in the laundry room (now there are five in there), and fixed dinner. It's Vaca Frita tonight, Jody!

But aside from that - the Eagles won their first game of the season against Houston! They looked good, and I'm watching the Dallas-Jacksonville game hoping that Jax beats the Cowboys. In addition to the division issues, I just can't stand Terrell.

[I don't think I'm alone.]

[P.S. Dallas lost!]

SAVE YOUR CORKS!!
